The Waters Edge Winery Franchise combines winemaking and the winery experience with the accessibility of the wine bar model.  We produce most of the wines at a central production facility.  The retail locations order finished wine from our central production facility.  There is limited winemaking at the franchise locations.   The hub-and-spoke model minimizes the labor and time that our franchisees spend making the wine they sell by the bottle or by the glass.  This model allows our franchisees to get open for business within six months or less.

The other benefit of our model that helps you be in business for yourself, not by yourself, is that you spend more time doing what our franchisees love to do:  Run the winery and mingle with guests.  By producing the wine at our central production facility, you spend more time with your customers and being a part of the operations in the front of the winery, not in the back.

In addition, we also provide you with an integrated support program to improve your sales, marketing (including social media and the internet) as well as financial management to help you run your store profitably.

We are initially focused on California and Arizona to enable us to build a regional brand as well as ship finished wine at cost-effective rates.  In other states, we offer a Winery Affiliate program.  We retain all of the features described previously; however, we will allow our Affiliates to use their own approved name for their winery.  The most significant difference is that after purchasing their initial inventory from our central production facility, our Waters Edge Winery Affiliates would produce most of their own wine versus buying from our central production.
